This guide explains how AI responses work in IntelliMate, including source references, excerpts, and response actions such as copy and feedback.
In the right panel, Chat History shows your conversations. Click New Chat to begin a new conversation.
You can start chatting right away in the chat box labeled Ask your question here..., or select one or more files from Knowledge Base if you want IntelliMate to use them as source context for the current chat.
After you send your question, IntelliMate will generate an AI response in the chat window.
When IntelliMate uses source files in a chat, source references may appear inside the AI response, such as [S1], [S2], or [S3].
Source references may also appear below the AI response as a row of source references for quick access.
These references help you see which parts of your files were used to support the response.
Click a source reference either inside the AI response or below the response to open the related excerpt.
This helps you review the supporting text and confirm how IntelliMate used your files to generate the answer.
When you are done, click Close (X) to return to the main window.
Click Copy text below the AI response if you want to copy the response for use elsewhere.
Click Good response when IntelliMate gives a helpful answer.
This feedback is stored only on your device for algorithm optimization and is not sent to our servers.
Click Report or share feedback if you want to report inappropriate, incorrect, or problematic AI-generated content.
When you submit this feedback, the related prompt and AI response are included with the report so IntelliMate can review the issue.
